I'm looking at the weather forecast, and I'm honestly not certain which is worse: the fact that it's supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow, or that it's going to be really fucking cold the rest of the week.

Can it be summer already? :-/

Approximately ten people actually showed up at Unnamed Nonprofit this morning. Everyone else called out. Oh, joy. The weather's now calling for 5-8 inches of snow on Wednesday, rather than the 3-6 inches it was talking about earlier.

So, yes, the DC area was hit by another wonderful snowfall last night/today. Despite it being warm enough that people were wandering around in short sleeves on Saturday.

If this isn't the last one of the season, I might just cry. I'm just saying. :-/

On the positive side, being paid to not be at work will never get old. I mean, seriously, 7+ years of restaurant work has very much taught me to appreciate not having to go into work when the weather is horrible and still being able to pay the bills ( Read more... )
